3D printing technology

3D printing technology has been there from early 1980's, it wasn't that much popular since 2000's.. it was hard to see them earlier..
Going back to it's history the first working 3D printer was created in 1984 by a person named "chuck hull".. since the 21'st century it has been getting popularised around the world, and there price has been reduced substantially.. the market of 3D printers and there services are worth $2.2 billion worldwide in 2012, and  29% up from 2 years back 2011..

3-d printing is a process of making three dimensionals(x,y,z) objects print out of any virualise 2-dimensional figures. it's a kind of additive process where a multiple successive layers are added upon to get various 3-d objects..!!
3D technique is unique in itself.. earlier machining methodology is based on removal of layers..(subtractive techniques),these were done through drilling up the job or cutting it...
A 3D printer is capable of adding layers to get demanding 3D output by computer instructions..
here's an video for you to get more about the how this works and adds layers one by one to form 3d objects...

3D printing technology is used for both prototyping and distributing manufacturing with having various applications in
 architecture
construction (AEC)
industrial design
automotive
aerospace
military
engineering
dental,medical industries
biotech (human tissue replacement)
fashion, footwear, jewelry, eyewear and education
geographic information systems, food, and many other fields.
One study has revealed that the 3D printing will cause a very good effect if it is use in the field of making common household objects...it will be more and much effective than it's applied capital cost..!!
