Let's Look At The Merits And Demerits Of Windows Phone First...

Merits:-


  • BEAUTIFUL & FRESH - Its Large "Picture Tile" Interface is One Of the Most Beautiful Interfaces along with its Metro Interface. Scrolling is Very Beautiful And EASY...
  • SIMPLE TO USE - Windows Phone Comes with only Two Screens. One Is Live Tile Interface And Other is Sorted List Of All Apps.
  • PHYSICAL CAMERA BUTTON - This Feature Makes It Easy For Users To Focus using Camera Without Touching The Screen.
  • ALL CONVERSATIONS IN ONE PLACE - Windows does the Amazing thing of Regrouping your Messages no matter where they Are.
  • KEYBOARD - As in Windows on PC, A cursor pops up Every time You Start Typing making it Easier.

Demerits :-

  • GAME SELECTION - This is not a Problem if You Are Only After Bigger Applications but if Not So, you may feel a problem regarding Game Selection. For Example, Windows Users Are Still Waiting For Angry Birds Space.
  • WHERE IS GOOGLE ? - Windows Users Probably miss the facility to Visit Mails By click of A Simple Button.
  • NO VOICE-TO-TEXT FEATURE - Most of All it Lacks Speech to Text Integrated System which is Quite A Feature Of Android & iPhone.
  • LACK OF SOME ICONS - Probably Some Icons Lack In Windows Phone. For Example see Below.
So, Windows Phone Is For Someone Who Needs A Simple Beautiful Smartphone To Make Calls, To Check Mails And To Surf the Internet.
But is Not For Those who need to Download A Load Of Apps for one use or the other.
