How to make Galaxy Gear a hit in new year 2014??

Samsung's Galaxy Gear was not a hit as expected..here's few things to make it a success this year!!

                                                                                                                                    -Shubham Negi

The Korean giant Samsung is able to keep its standard by launching its ''Gear Watch" this year (september) but it was not able to own the customers' heart.. Few reasons remain to make it flop.. these all are to be removed to make it a hit next year..
According to the company it has sold out 8 lac pieces out there to its retailers but how much of them are sold, the data is not disclosed..
Samsung has beaten Apple (preparing to launch its new iWatch next year) in terms of launching wearable gadgets but the early response of consumers was very negative.
Tech reviewers have been criticizing the gear for its high price tag, weak battery life, and limited compatibility with other devices (supports only few Samsung tablets and phones.)
The gear launched by Samsung connects users to take pics, to make calls , and connect their smartphones and tablets.. This unproven device was much important for the company as it was a shift for the position of technology stand..

The company believes that this gear will be a new favorite out there to wear but there is lot to go before we can see it as a such a demanding gadget..

Here are some points on which the company has to pay attention..

Make Gear work with more phones:
Samsung should create a environment where the gadget can support all other devices and smartphones (not only galaxy s4 and note3) making it compatible with apple, blackberry and windows phone..Some exclusive features can be added to make it a must buy for the users.. The gadget must supports other devices too, making it more common between the users and more user-friendly..

Should support more applications:
these gadgets should support more apps to it.. the developers should work on that more and more apps work on it.. more services and apps will make it more good option for the users..

To justify with the expense of the gadget more apps have to be introduced like pedometer and heart rate counting apps should be introduced..
by adding more features it can add wow feature to it.. developers should be invited to make a good environment of gadgets there..

It's too money sucking:
With a price tag of 300$ it's too costly ranging in the price of smartphones and in range of some pc's too... It's not affordable to many customers consuming such a great price .. compared to other smart watches pebble, sony smart watches costing you only from 150$ to 200$..
By cutting down the price to 100$ to 150$ the smart gadget will be able to attract another range of customers..

End of battery battle:
We  are already worried of charging our battery fully charged up at the end of every day and if another gadget get added, the situation becomes more horrible.. That's the current situation with galaxy gear.. The battery should last atleast 3-5 days to make it more liked by users but that's seemed to be hard until it is using OLED's screen..

It has to be independent :
The gear has to be more smart.. As per now it is displaying notifications and playing music or checking texts.. but it's useless without it's companion smartphone.. The gear has to be more smarter so that it can work on it's own.. One can check their mail or text anyone without it's companion.. Adding these features will surely provides it a source of much users..

More versatile :
Samsung as known for its many varieties of ranging smartphones which gives variety of choices to the users.. The same should be applied to the gear watches.. Just imagine a whole line of smartwatches.. There can be many varities for them specially for girls they can act as a jwellery, these bulky Galaxy Gear looks bulky on slimmer hands..

Making the device more smarter and sexier in look,Samsung can attract more customers to it's buyer's list..
we'll wait for its improved versions..
What would you like to see from Galaxy Gear 2014 ??
