Two Surgeons implanted the Argus || artificial Retina Last Month, as Reported by Michigan Daily.
Developed by Second Sight, this Device is Made of Sheet of Electrodes, Artificial Retina Attaches to Eye and is Connected to a Pair of glasses with inbuilt Camera and Processor that Captures Video from the Glasses.
Its Important to know that this Device doesn't restore the Patient's Sight but allows the Person to See Some Flashes of Light so that they may Translate them to Visual Signals. One of the Surgeons Said that it takes Two to Three months for A Patient to Learn these Signals.
Although it Doesn't provide Clear Vision, it's Far better for Persons Suffering from Degenerative Diseases that may else Result in Complete Blindness. It Just Provides a Bit of the Sight.
