Fastest data transfer ever !!

Researchers in DTU Photonics' High-Speed Optical Communications Group (HSOC) have set a hit record for single-transmitter data transfer.Using some another kind of optical fibers they were able to achieve speeds of 43 terabits per second.

Let's make it easier for those who not know much about bit memory format. it is more than five 1TB HDDs data copied down in less than one second. Such fast it is. This record is due to the use off single laser if hundreds of lasers are used at a time then the speed is going to be more and much faster .You can see the group's official announcement at the source link below, assuming you can read North Germanic languages.
