What is Cloud Native in simple words

As written in Cloud Native Attitude book ,  Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) says Cloud Native is about scale and resilience or “distributed systems capable of scaling to tens of thousands of self healing multi-tenant nodes”.



As per my understanding by cloud native approach is all about designing, building application and running them on IAAS and PAAS offerings nowdays provided by AWS, Azure, GCP etc. with keeping micro-services architecture in mind having integrations for continuous delivery.
The overall objectives it fulfills are:

  1. Speed
  2. Scale
  3. Margin
